Enjoy Exploring This Virtual Classroom.
I chose to develop a virtual classroom to aid in my digital citizenship unit for 5th & 6th Grade. Students can freely explore this age appropriate resources and discover an array of topics within the world of digital citizenship, as they click around the room for a fully interactive experience.
*** Virtual Classrooms are something that I often create for my early elementary students because I can better control what resources the students are exploring. Despite the fact that I often give my 5th and 6th graders more freedom when locating content, I am hopeful this will be a fun addition on their journey to becoming better digital citizens.
Global day of unplugging is around the corner so I thought a choose your own Online Adventure would be a fun reminder to my students that a healthy amount of time online is fine but sometimes as good digital citizens we just have to take some time and unplug.

According to the national day calendar GLOBAL DAY OF UNPLUGGING – is from sundown to sundown March 3 – 4, Global Day of Unplugging, kicks off a 24-hour period, to unplug, unwind, relax, and do things other than using today’s technology, electronics, and social media. #GlobalDayOfUnplugging
