Resource Review:
Why Microsoft Image Creator?
Over the last few months, I have been diving deeper and deeper into the world of AI. I know people have many different views on AI, and most apprehensions are warranted, but it’s here, and it’s up to us to learn how to use it effectively. Recently, I have been focusing on how to craft the most accurate prompts for my AI interactions, and Microsoft Image Creator is a great tool for learning how to effectively manipulate the AI to create the imagery you want, and students love seeing the images come to life from text, especially familiar characters.

Pros: The interface is designed for beginners and advanced users to take the art to the next level. This is some of the best AI technology images based on text prompts I have seen ( I primarily have used Canva previously and it is 100000x more visually pleasing). The amount of styles available makes this tool ideal to use in creative projects.
Cons: Both myself and my coworker were excited to see what Microsoft image AI could do as image AI is a Canva tool we both use consistently, however setting up an initial account proved challenging. I did find a work around by accessing it through BING but without that setting up a free account was challenging. Results can sometimes be unpredictable, requiring adjustments and retries, It can be difficult for a new user to customization of images, enabling users to fine-tune details. Understanding the best ways to phrase prompts to achieve desired outcomes can be challenging, but that is part of what we should all be learning. Finally the complexity of the image can take a significantly long time to generate and can be more time-consuming then you originally planned for.
Using Image creator can extend by engaging users in the process of visually artistic creations, helping student to understand AI-driven art. There is value in learning how to use detailed prompt adjustments, which cater to specific project needs.Microsoft Image Creator enhances itself and others experiences by using feedback and continuous learning, improving its images over time.
