A Sense of Wonderopolis
This week in my library I am teaching my students about Chocolate, this is part of an author study where we have glanced into the world of Roald Dahl and explored a few of his titles that highlight chocolate, such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Witches, and Matilda. We are embracing different types of technology during this unit while we design or own candy bars and create candy wrappers using Canva . We are also spending time discussing and Wondering who invented Chocolate Chips? Who invented the Candy Bar ? or Why can’t dogs eat chocolate?
As most of you know already, we can’t just leave children to browse the internet this is because the resources might not be appropriate both for their age and in the content itself. That’s why I am reviewing WONDEROPOLIS a resource that is a fun addition to the classroom or anytime your child ever wonders about something.
